 WALKING AWAY
                                  Sean Vidrine and Swampfyre

                                 J and S- 2004

5PEPPERS!!!! HIGHEST RATING!! A Review By Paule Pachter, March 22, 2004

Sean Vidrine and Swampfyre have spent the last three years since, the release of their debut album on J&S Records perfecting their style of Zydeco and Cajun music on festival stages throughout Europe and across the United States. With the release of their new J&S album entitled, "Walking Away" they have undoubtedly positioned themselves in the forefront of the Louisiana music industry.

Vidrine has proven himself to be a gifted young artist who refuses to allow himself to be classified as a traditionalist or an artist following in the footsteps of someone else. On "Walking Away" he has set a new and exciting benchmark for other young artists to follow. With an outstanding ability to pump the accordion to new levels, and a well- crafted vocal ability, Sean Vidrine has truly arrived. The material selected for this CD by Vidrine and producer Jay Doucet allows the artist and his band comprised of Pat Stebbins (lead guitar, background vocals); Adrian Boudreaux (keyboards, background vocals); Scott Mallett (bass guitar); and Kevin Dougas (drums) an opportunity to showcase their talents and full musical range. It also allows them to define for the listener that they have a full understanding of what material works within the contemporary Cajun-Zydeco arena.

Among the standout tracks featured are riveting covers of Johnny Lange's "Walking Away," Joe William's "Please Don't Go," and the classic "Nonc Adam." Add to the mix exciting original compositions such as: "Get The Hell Out," A Yie Yie," and "She's Mine" and you'll understand why "Walking Away" should be considered as one of the best recordings of 2004, and easily earns a well deserved five-pepper rating from us.

You can purchase this CD online from the record label at: www.jandsrecords.com, and for more information about Sean Vidrine and Swampfyre long onto their official website at: www.swampfyre.com .

We greatly appreciate your support and encouragement of The Zydeco Road. Working together, we can enhance the recognition that Zydeco music and its artists so greatly deserve on Long Island and within the Metro New York area.
